No. Compulsory BHYT keys to a definite-term labour contract of at least twelve months — not to the mere fact of holding a TRC. Household BHYT via TRC alone is not published as a settled right.

When is BHYT compulsory for a foreign employee?

When you are on a definite-term labour contract of twelve months or more under the BHYT statute as amended. Confirm the employer’s registration path.

What if my contract is under 12 months?

What about private international insurance?
