Yes. DH is on the TRC-eligible list under Luật Nhập cảnh Điều 36. The term band on file for DH (with LV / LS / ĐT2) is up to 5 years per card, subject to passport buffer.

DH — study stay

Study is its own purpose. DH is the stay symbol on the TRC list — not a school-enrolment product, and not a work path.

On the TRC list

DH appears in the eligible string (LV1, LV2, LS, ĐT1, ĐT2, ĐT3, NN1, NN2, DH, PV1, LĐ1, LĐ2, TT, UĐ1, UĐ2). Term band with LV1 / LV2 / LS / ĐT2: 5 years (Luật Nhập cảnh Điều 38 khoản 3). Passport buffer 30 days. Sponsor / school filing path must be confirmed with the institution — we do not invent a DIY filing checklist.

Schools are a separate page

FDI / foreign-curriculum operator rules are on schools (foreign curriculum limb on file). Public enrolment for foreign children is not published as a complete playbook — that gap is intentional, not unfinished marketing.

Tax days still count

Long study stays still feed Vietnam tax residence when days or habitual abode clear the tests. Work on the side needs labour permission — DH is not a remote-work visa.
