Thai massage work — the Schedule 1 wall

In plain termsThai massage is a closed job for foreigners, not a paperwork delay. Schedule 1 of the B.E. 2563 reserved list bars it absolutely.

Start here — three doors

  1. You want to practise Thai massage. Stop. The filed cell marks it as absolutely reserved.

Common questions

Can a foreigner work as a Thai massage therapist with a work permit?

No as a product path. Thai massage is filed as absolutely reserved for Thai nationals on Schedule 1. A work permit does not open a Schedule 1 job.

What about spa management or hotel wellness roles?

Do not invent a carve-out from a job board title. Confirm the actual duties against the reserved list on doe.go.th, then clear the ordinary work-permit stack if the role is open.
